About Us

The Galilean’s are a mixed vocal ensemble from Louisville, KY. Originally formed in the 1970’s as a church worship team, the Galilean’s have been singing for worship services and events for about 35 years. The purpose of the group is "to proclaim God’s glory in song" as we identify with The Galilean, Jesus Christ our Savior.

The group’s primary style is a cappella choral music, singing traditional hymns, gospel music, spirituals, and patriotic selections. We have sung for many churches, nursing homes, banquets, city and organizational events in the greater Louisville area. In 2009 the Galilean’s traveled to Mountain Mission School in Grundy, Virginia for a mission outreach and concert performance. In 2010, the Galilean's performed Christmas selections at Light-Up Louisville. See the History page for more of our previous engagements.
